My ruler is a plain see-thru ruler with no metal edge. I've used this ruler for dressmaking, quilt making, cards, educational purposes, as well as many other measuring tasks. It was the best ruler I've ever had for many varied measuring needs.Just keep it in a safe place and it will last a very long time!
